They said they need to shore up thier defense too...
Texans need to shore up EVERYTHING.
If not a RB, then they should've traded down a few picks to grab a big O-lineman
like Ferguson or Justice.

I still think they blew it.
Casserly is old lieutenant of Bobby Beathard from DC, and ol' Bobby kinda lost it near the end, too!

The "NFL Talking Heads" will have a field day with this. Remember what Dallas did trading draft picks during the Jimmy Johnson era? Superbowl Champs in I think three years. BTW, I HATE the damn Crybabies, but they did it, sorry to say :x

from espn.com:

"Ladies and gentlemen, your Houston Texans, an outfit that might do better were Mr. Magoo executing its lottery selections. Hand out the darts, folks, and take cover. Even quarterback David Carr, throwing from his back, which is where he has been for most of his four seasons in Houston, has better aim than his bosses."

I love it when the players/teams prove the ESPN guys wrong.

Just like March Madness...the "pros" were so wrong in picking the final 4..

A Cardinal fan just might disagree. They feel like the most snake bitten franchise in the NFL. Time will tell

At least Patriots picked another RB to help out Dillon who has his share of wear and tear.

Just hope the Steelers don't take Pope....

This draft has more players I've never heard in the 1st round than any I can remember. And by never heard of, I mean before all the mock draft hype started. i.e. during the season when their playing mattered...never heard of most of these guys.

POPE may be a BEAR....

all i can say is, wow. being a partial UT fan, i love this guy. but is he better than Cutler or Leinhart? No.

NY Jets: D'Brickeshaw Fergeson, Virginia
Good Move
But Young went up against harder teams than Matt's USC team.

Waiting for the #21st pick...for Patriots. I am hoping they pick UGA's Leonard Pope, TE : Height: 6-7 3/4 | Weight: 258 | 40-Time: 4.62
and which harder teams did he go yp against.........he's one dimentional........he's a runner 1st....watching film of him.......he's slower then vick....defences will chase him down.....he can't read defenses.......locks in to one reciever.........he didn't come from a pro style offence!!!

I thought he read the USC defense pretty well with his winning TD against them in the 4th qrt.

He is slower than Mike Vick? Could be, although I think Mike Vick scrambles pretty good when I watch him here in ATL.

Young had a completion percentage of 65.2%, which was 3rd in the nation.

I stand corrected. USC played more ranked teams, although ND was the only one who gave them a game, which ND won imo.

I bet Matt was thinking he should have went into the draft last year.
