Nice I'm going to the game on the 6th but here in NY.
I have bleacher seats and plan on heckling that traitor Mike Myers the whole game...

just like I made sure that that other traitor.... John Halama heard me two weeks ago.

Why would you heckle Myers?

The Sox didn't even make him an offer. His unique status (the ability to get Matsui out) cost the bullpen in flexibility the rest of the year. The guy couldn't even effectively pitch an entire inning when the rest of the pen used up in a doubleheader last September.
Yeah if you don't offer Myers or anybody else a decent contract you can't hold it against him when they look for employment elsewhere. I understood when Flaherty went to spring training with the Sox this year because he thought he wanted to play more and the Yankees didn't offer him a contract.
I thought it was obvious I was kidding...please tell me you didn't think I was serious.
Besides I will be too busy heckling Damon to have time for Myers

Well you did think Minaya traded Kazmir so I was thinking maybe you're not very up on the trades/signings that happen in baseball....

So basically youre saying that the amount of I have forgotten is less then what you know. Considering I don't believe I have forgotten any of my baseball knowledge, that doesn't say much about what you know or don't know either way. Shockingly, You messed up the saying. Let me see if I can help you out. What you meant is that your claim, as much as I disagree with it is that
YOU have forgotten more about baseball then
I know. Let me know if you need any more help with popular sayings or baseball transactions. I'm here to help.

Still love my team and always will no mater what but man they're in trouble. Obviously I don't expect anyone to feel bad for them ( nor should you) but we have so many injuries that we don't even have the replacement players to be competitive right now. Thank god it's only May...

We just have to somehow stay afloat until Sheffield gets back. Hopefully we can get a stopgap outfielder and possibly a pitcher.

I haven't paid him anything....Which sometimes is about right for how he plays. Never an ARod fan but hey is a yankee so I support him.

you do realize that the payroll for those Yankee players on the DL right now is more than 37 million dollars... more than twice the Devil Rays entire payroll. Yanks can't use injuries as an excuse.

Having 37 million dollars on the DL is excuse enough but again like I said I don't expect anyone to feel sorry for them. Injuries happen, it's part of the game. If they can't overcome then when it's all said and done then it will be a disapointing season.

Just like a blueprint, Ortiz comes through with a big hit early in the game and ARod hits a meaningless HR when the game was already over.
I was watching the game at a bar, when ARod came up in the 9th I said to the guy next to me "Here comes the meaningless HR" and sure enough....
He can drop that MVP trophy off in the Red Sox clubhouse anytime this week, forget about the defence argument neither one plays defence anymore.

what about the remaining 100 million plus that remains on the field? What is their excuse? Injuries aren't the problem.

Unreliable pitching and injuries are causing our problems IMHO. It's only May so time to turn thigns around but we'll see....

Papi and Manny kill us everytime. The sox have the pitching this year and thats coming from a yankees fan. The yanks have big bats too but bottom line is the sox pitching gets the yankees big bats out in key situations. The yankees staff cant do the same. How many clutch hits can papi get against the yanks?
