Just went downstairs to see if the line has started to form for tomorrow morning. There are 3 people there already.

I walked by and spoke with them this evening. They were the only ones there so far- gotta love it (atleast thats the only people I saw decked out on 48th st). Came down from Mass for it. They didn't know what buffettnews was, so I explained it. Maybe they'll register!

OK. I'm awake. I.e., I haven't gone to bed yet, just a few hours snooze on the sofa. I was up and down about going, but now since I'm awake ...
Manhattan, here I come!

Alright, two questions:
  • Who's that holding the sign from Jackson, Michigan?

    WHY ISN'T THAT ME?
and who's the girl in the pink sweater right in front of Jimmy?

I'm more than willing to be an hour and a half late for work to see Jimmy Buffett, but I'd sure like to hear more than two songs if I'm gonna be in the dog house with the boss! :o

Maybe after the national and local news breaks he'll play a couple more? :D

So I went today but wasn't very close to the stage ( in fact across the street from it. Ended up hanging with LIPH most of the time as neither one of us were close. Did have acool experience dealing with the Reefers as the band ended up staying at my hotel. They weren't booked as a "group" but in going through the arrivals report I noticed their names and became their point of contact since the other managers didn't even know who they were. Dealt with Charlie Fernandez and Mike Mooney allot but got to see or meet the actual band members. Pretty cool experience. Also figured this was a good chance to book future business from them so it was hopefully beneficial for the hotel too not just me!
