Do try to see them in order.... I didnt get the SATC bug until season 5.... but at the time I had HBO demand.... so I could catch up on some of it.... but it wasnt until I bought the set and watched them in order.

And the TV version while better than nothing..... cuts all the good stuff...

I'm going to! I'll just rent each season in order from Netflix, then I don't have to worry about watching it all in one sitting because I really don't have a lot of time for that.

I've only seen TV episodes so I have no clue what I'm missing.

You've been missing SEX in the city, get it? A golden plethora of SEX is what the show has to offer on DVD. Those ladies try just about everything and anything. And as far as Samantha is concerned, with almost anyone.

BB I'm a relative newbie but you are ALWAYS on the interesting threads, I believe you were heavily involved in the "package" thread but that's a whole 'nother deal.
Like you I got hooked on S&TC only after it hit regular cable - I get it on TBS on Tues nights at 9, runs 2 episodes for an hour.
I won't tell you how it ends but I think you're gonna love it! I've considered renting the whole series and watching what really happened.

Get a tivo. Record it and watch it the next evening at your leisure.

ummm.. call me silly, but what is the point of showing it on WTBS? if you are going to edit out all the nudity, all you get is 18 minutes of commercial time/episode...

Go for the DVDs, you can find them on eBay a lot cheaper than when they first came out.

I'm investigating channels to obtain the DVDs. When I explained to hubby there was female nudity, he was much more amenable to the idea.

They use to film at a resturaunt near our brooklyn office........one night they were filming and my boss is chasing Kim Cattrel down the street!!!!.....for her age she has it going!!

I just found this thread Mal! Although, I had seen various episodes from various seasons, I was never a faithful SATC watcher... but then I started borrowing my friend's DVDs last summer... it was all over from there. I would watch an entire season in two days! Talk about obsessed... I was maniacal! But, my obsession has not subsided since I've seen every episode (many multiple times)... now I'm just a casual rerun watcher on cable.
