I am planning on scanning it, but do not have a scanner at home. Will do when I can. I thought it an odd find, too-drink tickets? Who knew? I still think it is cool, though, as the place is not far from where we lived when I was a kid. (Unfortunately, not a keet-found JB in college.)

So, it's only been like two and half years, but look what I came across today while I was cleaning out a desk drawer. Didn't find what I was looking for, but I did find this. I still don't have a scanner, but I do have a digital camera, so...here we are. The quality isn't great (I just used my cell phone camera), but it works. Maybe later I can use the actual camera, which works a bit better, but for now...here's the ticket!

I know, right? Even for a chronic lurker like me (and you, apparently), this one was dredged up from St. Somewhere for sure.

If that wasn't the year the Volcano caught fire at Buckeye Lake, but the next year, we have 3 tickets somewhere for Margaritas!!

We went the year after the Volcano fire and evidently everyone decided to go late in the day that year. As we tried to get into the venue, we were herded like cattle through these gates with about 30,000 people. There were about 50,000 people there that year!

Only one person at a time could go through. I guess it was some sort of crowd control. Well it really got hairy. People pushing and being literally carried with the crowd. People were passing out from the heat and TOO drunk to stand! All we could think of was the movie, "The Kids Are Alright"!!!

Finally when we got into the venue, I went to complain about how unbelievably unsafe it was and that someone could have been killed. We went to the first person who look officious! The woman said that she couldn't do anything about that, but here are some tickets for some free Margaritas for our trouble!!

I told her that Judy and I didn't drink and our friend Charlie who we brought with us, was in recovery and couldn't drink!!! But we would keep them as a souvenir!

She said , "Oh My God, an entire car of designated drivers at a Buffett Concert!"

That's hysterical (not the situation, the quip at the end)! But not uncommon. I know many parrotheads who don't drink. I was one of them for a long time. I simply couldn't afford it and just didn't drink much/often. Still don't drink often, but as any Frisco Feeding Frenzy attendee can tell you, I do tend to drink much!

I was that way when I hit a big 300 recently.

Nothing wrong with lurking-this board is just too busy to keep up with-at least for me!
