Uhmm is where we get the Phrase " if you do so unto the least of...
you do so unto me"??? it goes something like that.. I'm close..
Matthew 25:40, is where that comes from, but its the same sentiment. Helping the poor is a theme that is constant in the Gospels. Seems Pat and gang forgets about that one.
Luis did not.. I can tell you this from personal truth.
Angie's (my fiance)dad passed away last Sunday so I didn't preach last weeks sermon and so I am going to preach it this Sunday since I spent most of the week on the road to and from Michigan. So no new sermon this week...stay tuned for next week.

When my wife's mom passed away almost 2 years ago, someone gave her a small ceramic tile with this on it:
The light of a distant star continues to reach the earth long after the star itself is gone. In the same way, the light and love your loved one gave will continue to shine in many hearts. ... The LORD's unfailing love surrounds ... Psalm 32:10
We keep it in our kitchen and think of Joyce every day. I hope you and Angie might find some comfort in it as well. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
