Anyone play? Anyone win?

The Friday Fives thread got me thinkin' about this. One of my first memories after my parents were divorced and my mom married my step-dad, was going to their church and playing Bingo on Sunday nights. The first time I ever went, I won $150! I was 9. :o

My stepdad's family is Mexican, and when my step-grandma used to come to visit (a total Bingo fanatic), my parents would drop her and I off at the Bingo parlor.

I can't believe I'm actually admitting this, but although I haven't played Bingo in AGES, but it's still a fun thing to do from time-to-time. :D

We have a summer festival in our town with a 'bingo tent' and sometimes we'll go play a few games when we're drunk. There's also a bar by us that has "bar bingo" on Friday nights... you sit at the bar and play bingo (duh!) I've never won bingo--- I'd rather go play the cherry machines!

I love bingo and don't play it nearly as often as I would like. I take my step-son to the fall fair here in town and he rides the amusement rides while his dad and I play bingo. I do not win alot.

I've never understood the lure... I typically like my gambling with at least some skill/strategy involved... 21, poker, video poker type stuff...

Right after I turned 18 I went with my mom and aunt to play bingo......they're fanatics about it and were always coming home with money, so I decided to go.

I won over $100 that night, so I started going nearly every weekend until recently. It's hard to pay for bingo when you have no money to spend.

I don't have any of those little troll dolls to "station" around my cards for good luck.

How do you make a 70 year old lady yell "f**k" in a church?

Have another 70 year old lady yell "bingo!"
