I've only got one... a 20" widescreen LCD. I've thought about another, but I don't have enough desk space... (That's at home, only a small 17" LCD at work...)
It's pretty easy to set up if your video card supports dual monitors... you basically just plug it in, then go into your display properties and set up which is your primary monitor, etc.... (to get there, right-click anywhere on your desktop and go to Properties>Settings Tab>Advanced... it will be one of the tabs in there.)
I only use one, but Mrs Z has a three monitor setup in her lab (which used to be our dining room ). It is nice to be able to have different things open and to easily move between them.
I will probably get a second one soon at work for spreadsheet purposes.
Hellooooooo, I just barely have space (or interest) for one monitor... I love my 19" flatscreen at work, but c'mon.... anything else is showing off for my lower level of geekness.

And, for the record, let's just admit right off that I first thought we were talking about some kind of hall monitors or sumpin'... Guilty conscience, I guess

I have two at work so I can have two applicatinos open side by side and therefore be much more productive or so I can have BN up on one screen while waiting for the application on the other to do something, anything!
