Doesn't take much for you people to get your panties in a wad over the spelling of Buffett's name does it? Just be glad he isn't Lynyrd Skynyrd or Led Zeppelin as I see those names nearly constantly mispelled by the press (and their supposed "fans"). It's also funny that you mispelled Sirius. I imagine it's also a very good possibility that Sirius isn't even responsible for mispelling his name, it's very likely that it happened sometime during the printing/editing process.Mots wrote:Glad to see Sirus has a station w/ called "Radio Margaritaville" by Jimmy BUFFET

They're not the only game in town when it comes to CDs either. They and places like Circuit City are slowly helping to put indie record stores out of business nationwide.Tequila Revenge wrote:Best Buy has the WORST customer "service" exchange policy I've ever had to deal with too.I refuse to purchase anything but CD's there

I had an awful experience with Best Buy several years back...haven't been back since.
CNN.com misspelled Jimmy's name as well today, in their Jazz Fest review.

Easy, Jah. People are just making observations.Jahfin wrote:Yep, sounds like even more grounds for a lawsuit.Quiet and Shy wrote:CNN.com misspelled Jimmy's name as well today, in their Jazz Fest review.![]()
What would you folks do if a restaurant mispelled buffet, buffett instead? I can only begin to imagine the horror.
I'll bet Jimmy's right up there in misspelled celebrity names.

I realize that but some of you folks act like it's some kind of crime against nature when it appears to be a very common mistake. Like I've said, I'm sure the likes of Lynyrd Skynyrd and Led Zeppelin get their names mispelled much more frequently than Jimmy Buffett. I'd say just be glad his name is still being mentioned, mispelled or not.Quiet and Shy wrote:Easy, Jah.
