I've come to realize, I AM a Florida GIRL, thru and thru....
And, have a drink for me!! Enjoy the trip. Basically, any drink in Key West is a good drink!![]()
Actually I meant Diva's. Sorry.jimolliemom wrote:Well.........BahamaBreeze wrote:Even at the 801 club?jimolliemom wrote:Ya'll are making me sad...I sure miss Florida...![]()

it would be an interesting drink anyhow.
You are right, it is right next to Diva's on the corner. But it is a MEN only bar...I never saw a woman in that place.jimolliemom wrote:We walked past Diva's many times and I wanted to see the "Cher" person...Hubby was too skeered. That sort of thing entertains me and horrifies him!
I thought 801 was the side-show wild place...maybe not...What AM I thinking???? (maybe that's some other numbers)
I thought of that, but it turns out I'm scaring him out of town for the summer!land_shark3 wrote:Go to HSV's house and drink all his beer! Its much cheaper that way.

Ah yes, the beer of the Bahamas. I have spent many times in little bars in Nassau and Paradise Island with Kalik. Many of my friends don't like it, but I think it is good.PARROT HEAD MIKE wrote:I just got back a week or so ago, I don't really remember prices after about 10 drinks or so, but you're on vacation who cares. Really though, I's not as bad as you would think even at places like Louie's Back Yard where I spent many afternoons. Hog's Breats, Captain Tony's Etc. are all normal prices. I think places at Mallory Square during sunset are a bit more 50c - 75c or so but you can take it with you.
Try Kalik Beer when you are down there, I got hooked on it.

I don't think so, it's a dry county...Um, are drinks available in Key West??
Two weeks ago the special at The Wharf was a bucket of Kaliks for $15. Lets just say there was a lot less Kalik on the island when we were through with our 10 hrs at the Wharf.bubba phan wrote:Schooner's Wharf, for me.....follow the waterfront to the right of Mallory Square...ya can't miss it. Great atmosphere and it's hard to beat for live music. Kalik is my favorite beer....had my first one at Blue Heaven....but be careful. The alcohol content is pretty high, it really is like getting 2 for 1!
....and Des is right....El Siboney is fantastic!
can't stress this enough.bubba phan wrote:Schooner's Wharf, for me.....follow the waterfront to the right of Mallory Square...ya can't miss it. Great atmosphere and it's hard to beat for live music.
