Thanks Sun, I thought I was being obviously sarcastic, but I guess thats the problem with the written word, you can't hear the tone in which it was written. I won't change my name yet, just take it for granted that I'm probably being sarcastic. I've been lurking around here for a long time and I've seen quite a lot of sarcasm . . . I'm home!

(for my niece's wedding) Sorry Hunting season trumps your wedding..

I think the bride will understand, she's a phish-head and use to follow them city to city. It's the rest of the family I'm worried about. They were upset when I didn't make my niece's baby shower, "what is MOTM anyway?" I've been following Jimmy long before the bride was even born!

Well if the last few years serve as a guide, in the next few weeks, the dates should start trickling in for the summer tour. I am unfortunately limited to 1 show a year, and the last 2 have been in Indiana. That is what I am waiting for (down on my knees praying for a date to come soon)...Yet with the Verizon being up for sale, I am a little more than nervous. I did hear that the venue is still commited to 2007 shows. But it may not be sold as a music theater...they seem to think it could go for development. Yikes! Oh well, if I need to go elsewhere, I will survive!

I hang my head in shame.

Unfortunately for me, my friend's music company has decided they will probably not be going ahead with their plans to release Take The Weather With You in Canada this year.

Any insider info I may have thought I would have had access to will probably not happen now. I am officially out of the loop.

My friend will tell me if anything comes up, but for now, that is not likely to be anything us BNers haven't already found out.

I can't remember the last time Jimmy played Camden on a Saturday!. Unless your cousin is getting married on a Tuesday, I think you are safe.

I looked through me captain's log and in 8 years, JB has only played 3 Saturday shows in the area.

JB's last SATURDAY show in the area was in Philadelphia, PA on August 27, 2005 at Citizens Bank Park !!!!!!

Actually the second show at CBP was Sat the 27th, the first being Thurs the 25th Aug. 2005

You are 100% correct about 2 JB shows in 2005 at CBP!

But prior to 2005.....1999 and 2000 specifically, we got 2 shows each year!

Then only 1 show a year for the next 4 years.....

And again only 1 show in 2006......

I'm not trying to be greedy, but it sure would be nice if JB went back to a 2 show per year in the Philly/Camden area and make one of the dates a Saturday.

Other venues get 2 shows almost every year, if not every year.

I heard from a pretty good source that the tour will be starting out on the West Coast in the spring and the first stop would be Orange County. Of course as always these are only rumors and not intended in anyway to cause excitement or high hopes. But hey, it makes the work days go by better.

Im new to the boards but have some good info on the upcoming tour.
2 shows in the Boston area. Both at Gillette Stadium The shows have 6 days between them which is odd.... Sunday September 2nd and Saturday September 8th
They go onsale Monday February 26th

In addition to those 2 dates...there is not a date yet that I know for certain but he IS booked for 1 show at Alpine Valley in East Troy Wisconsin and I will be attending that one
