Last year's Paris gigs weren't announced until June last year.. I wouldn't count on European dates being announced with the main tour. Would be nice though.

Now that we have a list of unconfirmed dates it will be interesting to see how many of these dates come to pass. I'm hoping for October Vegas shows, but in any case, I will be in Vegas again this year.

That's just plain weird. I don't think he'll be going back to Smirnoff (is that still the name?) after PPH in Frisco. I love the venue at Smirnoff, but the parking lot has no pavilion, etc ... the things we enjoyed at PPH.

Group on facebook says tickets go on sale for alpine valley date of 7/28 on 2/26. Anyone else hear this?

Any confirmation on the Hawaii dates? What are the thoughts on the Tahiti date? Would it be in Papeatte on the island of Tahiti or on Moorea or Bora Bora? Thanks for the updates.

7/28 is on a Tuesday...Alpine Valley has an ordinance that's been in place many years with East Troy that shows are only allowed at Alpine Valley on Saturdays and Sundays.

The ordinance allows shows on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Last summer there was a Rage Against The Machine show on a Friday flowed by two Dave Matthews shows on the same weekend.

Since Jimmy seems to be sticking to his Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday format, a Saturday would be the only day he could play Alpine.

It's now Superpages.com Center. Which, IMHO is worse than Smirnoff. One of my fears is that if it is 10/6 it'll be at the new Cowboys stadium. It would be a closer drive from Steven's apartment though.

Like you said - time will tell. I wonder if they're rehearsing in Austin again this year?

I am so excited that Jimmy announced new dates. I realize every summer is a borrowed one, but it makes me happy!

I'm excited about the new dates. It's so bloody cold and snowy here right now. I'm sick of winter. Knowing that Buffett dates are in the future reminds me that spring and summer will eventually get here.

Try not to look at every tour as a borrowed one. Jimmy honestly seems to love being on stage still. He certainly is not going through the motions of it all. When he stops loving this he will hang it up. Just be glad for every tour that happens and have fun.
