i believe that AF is right, i just didn't know why the shows will be cut in halfSchoolGirlHeart wrote:JM, AF is usually right....jamaica mistaica wrote:why are you saying this, jw?AlbatrossFlyer wrote:look for only about half the usual number of shows this year.....
not a clue, but if I had to guess, I'd say it looks like JB is continuing to scale back his schedule...jamaica mistaica wrote:i believe that AF is right, i just didn't know why the shows will be cut in halfSchoolGirlHeart wrote:JM, AF is usually right....jamaica mistaica wrote:why are you saying this, jw?AlbatrossFlyer wrote:look for only about half the usual number of shows this year.....
I fear that may be the case. Can't blaim him, but it is certainly sad to see the beginning of the end of a wonderful era.SchoolGirlHeart wrote:not a clue, but if I had to guess, I'd say it looks like JB is continuing to scale back his schedule...jamaica mistaica wrote:i believe that AF is right, i just didn't know why the shows will be cut in halfSchoolGirlHeart wrote:JM, AF is usually right....jamaica mistaica wrote:why are you saying this, jw?AlbatrossFlyer wrote:look for only about half the usual number of shows this year.....
heck, if I were 60 and rich, I suspect I'd play more and work less, even if I loved my job.
for that matter, if I were 46 and rich...........
Um, if I'm not mistaken, JB just played two shows in Florida.......BoozingN'Schmoozing wrote:If there are no shows in the Southeast, I can blame him... Scaling back is one thing, but when he's playing 3 shows in the Boston area, not coming to where one of his most loyal fan bases resides is just wrong. I guess I'll save my money for what it would cost to see JB and go see Jim Morris 8 times, instead.
did Camden move a few hundred miles north?LIPH wrote:Where's the 3rd show in the Boston area?
haha, let me guess, YOU are his biggest fan....BoozingN'Schmoozing wrote:If there are no shows in the Southeast, I can blame him... Or maybe Pittsburgh moved east.SchoolGirlHeart wrote:did Camden move a few hundred miles north?LIPH wrote:Where's the 3rd show in the Boston area?
I really think Boise is due, don't you?CaptainP wrote:Uh-oh....do we have another "Jimmy OWES US a show" posting?
Last year....Florida (but he played there late in the year)
2005....Alpine (but he played at Wrigley...only 2 hours away)
2004.....Great Woods (but he played Fenway)
Is it South Carolina this year? (???)
But that's an annual thing...besides, he just played there...never.SchoolGirlHeart wrote:I really think Boise is due, don't you?CaptainP wrote:Uh-oh....do we have another "Jimmy OWES US a show" posting?

but I do notice that the Boise-ites wish for a show, but don't whine about not getting one...CaptainP wrote:But that's an annual thing...SchoolGirlHeart wrote:I really think Boise is due, don't you?CaptainP wrote:Uh-oh....do we have another "Jimmy OWES US a show" posting?

Not like those pesky Nashville pholkes!!!SchoolGirlHeart wrote:but I do notice that the Boise-ites wish for a show, but don't whine about not getting one...CaptainP wrote:But that's an annual thing...SchoolGirlHeart wrote:I really think Boise is due, don't you?CaptainP wrote:Uh-oh....do we have another "Jimmy OWES US a show" posting?

We're just saying, talk to the people in Washington. (2 shows in last 10 years)BoozingN'Schmoozing wrote: Blast me all you want. I don't claim to be his biggest fan, have seen the most shows or anything like that. And I know he doesn't owe us anything, yet to ignore the obvious that excluding an entire region from a concert schedule that has included us every year is at best a bad business decision, is being blind.
The week between the shows means nothing. There's a week between the 2 Las Vegas shows in October every year. He usually plays California or someplace else out west between the shows, not a 3rd Vegas show.BoozingN'Schmoozing wrote:As for the third show, I am quite sure of my geography. While it is not yet announced, I have it on good authority that there will be a third show at Gillette. As of right now about a 75-80% chance last I heard... did you notice the gap in dates between the two shows?
According to every map I've ever seen it is.BoozingN'Schmoozing wrote:By the way, Florida is not the South.
So what you're really upset about is that after getting a show every year you might get passed over this year. Like a lot of the country gets passed over every year.BoozingN'Schmoozing wrote:Blast me all you want. I don't claim to be his biggest fan, have seen the most shows or anything like that.
