The 8/16 date at Nissan does not make sense, that is a Sunday. Plus, JB has not played that venue in August since the mid 90's, it's too hot and humid in VA in mid August.

He has played Nissan, at least since 2003 through the last tour.

Yes I know he plays there every year, I am just saying that a Sunday does not make sense and that he has not played there in the middle of Aug since the mid 90's, it's usually end of June or early July. Last year he was here over Labor Day.

I know that dates on this year's tour will be announced in twos. (Great help in planning, huh?) And there will be 34 of them.

I agree that the Sunday date seems odd but JB has certainly played Nissan in August. Maybe not the "middle" of the month but definitely in August. 2006 was the hottest show I've ever been to; that was brutal.

The last seven years of shows at Nissan:

2002 - June 25 (Tuesday)
2003 - July 5 (Saturday)
2004 - July 3 (Saturday)
2005 - June 15 (Wednesday)
2006 - August 3 (Thursday)
2007 - June 28 (Thursday)
2008 - August 30 (Saturday) and September 1 (Monday - Labor Day)

Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Detroit are also likely in June

re: Phila. rumors --- Camden, NJ is directly across the river from Philly so its gotta be one place or the other. Jimmy hasn't played two dates in Camden or Philly for quite a while The Philly gig has been at Citizens Bank Park - Camden is a small venue so two dates would make sense!

no way it'll be in Dallas at Smirnoff on 10/6. The State Fair will be going on then.

Now there are Vegas date conflicts. I am hoping for the October weekends and would love to see a Halloween night show in Vegas. That place is extra crazy on Halloween plus it's my birthday. We shall see.
