In Florida right now...going to Key West tomorrow....
In Port St. Lucie right now, and tomorrow I am headed to Key West. Does anybody here now of a cheap place to stay in Key West? I know it is a long shot, but are there any places there that cost less than $120/night? Looking to stay a total of 4 nights in paradise. I think it crazy that hotels in Key West can jack up prices to prey on all us regular Key West visitors. Isn't it supposed to be a sweet little town?...ha ha ha
Sunset Beach is my Margaritaville. Where there is endless beach, no time, and sunshine that seems to last forever. I know that Someday I Will.....Someday.
Try the Key West Welcome Center... they should be able to help you out. They have a list of hotels and availabilty and will make the arrangements for you. Let them know the nights you're looking for and your price range.
Unfortunately it's still high season and you're going to have to pay $$$

I always stay at Best Westerns (miles/points) - Try the Best Western Key Ambassador, kind of close to the airport, but a nice facility, or check out the Best Western on Simonton to be closer to the action, I believe it's the Best Western Hibiscus Motel. I've paid anywhere from $69 to $209 at both of those places. Have fun, I wish I was there...
