The link to the floor plan isn't working for me, there are still floor seats available on TM but I'd like to have some idea of where they are.

I just spoke to Baby aka Nancy. She's vacationing in Vegas and scored tickets to the 10/28 show. She'll be there from 10/25 thru 10/29 and wanted to know if there's going to be any phlocking and if so where.

Dutch Harbor PH is right, you would have to get in later than 10:00 to miss the Last Man Stanging party! I would wander over if I were you, or as suggested, make it to Margaritaville and then be ready to roar again on Saturday...all day!

I wonder if TM realizes that 'best available' should fit the performer, as the event isn't always basketball or hockey, even though that's what the arena was made for?? The music artist may not be in the center of the arena, so one end is better than the other!! - though I'd have no problem with seeing Jimmy "in the round" that would be cool, I think anyway.

So I booked my strip-located hotel yesterday for Fri 10/20 and Sat 10/21. Got an ok deal, it isn't the nicest place in town. Was just surfing some on Yahoo, found a link to book a room at the same hotel for LESS

Not bunches less, but it would have been just under $200 for the two nights together.

That sounds like a plan. Get to Tommy Rockers as quick as possible with Margaritaville as a back up. And we are ready

Here's a general plan/schedule of events.
Friday, Oct. 20:
The Flamingo pool in the AM.
Margaritaville 'round noon.
Last Man Standing, at 6:pm at Tommy Rocker's Mojave Beach, 4275 Dean Martin Dr (formerly Industrial Rd). This years charity will be the LVPHC's "Annual Foster Kids Christmas Party". Check their website for updates: http://lvphcwm.tripod.com/lvphc/

Saturday, Oct. 21- Margaritaville Alley Party (next to Flamingo) starts around noon. Some stay at the Flamingo until showtime, others catch the monorail up to the MGM Grand Pool Party (4:pm-ish). Then head to the show.

Let me know if anyone has any more details, or if I've given any wrong info.

MGM has not yet finalized there plans but a pre show pool party is looking like the plan. I know in 04 they had the pre show party out in back of the pool complex and you had to buy tickets for beer, food etc.

thats a healthy list of people! With any luck my wife won't get over-served like she did in CHicago and blow chunks on anybodies feet.

Mind you her passing out at our local show has brought me full circle to guilting my way to seeing Jimmy in Sin City. It was THE only way . . .
