Clams.....On a Pizza??

Ok so I had 20 minutes to kill before I saw a Movie
today so I wodered into a new Pizza joint for a cold Beer
today..
Soo I take a look at the menu and they have a Friday
special.. Fresh Clams on a pizza.. red or White sauce..
any takers??

No. I don't like clams, but shellfish does NOT belong on a pizza.

I have had lobster on a pizza
and Shrimp..
but Clams?? I'm not sure..

why not,...I've had artichoke on pizza....
Hideaway Pizza in Stillwater, Ok...
after all, you can get those salty little fishes...
I'd certainly try it... sounds yummy to me.

I love clams.... and lobster.... and shrimp..... but none of them belong on pizza....
now pineapple, on the other hand, belongs on pizza.....

Like anchovies, but on a cracker or in Ceasar Salad - not pizza.
Love artichokes, but in a dip or other ways, not on a pizza.

I think more than anything
A. I have to buy a whole pie..
B. Friday only
those are my hangups.. since I would have to eat the whole thing..
what if I don't like it?

ok for the record .. I dont like seafood that much - and definitely not on pizza ..
but one of the big sellers out here is seafood pizza - normally with a white sauce or cheese sauce I think (I dont pay a lot of attention as it does not do a lot for me - particularly as no pineapple
)

When I worked at Bertucci's we had a clam pizza. It was a very good seller. I never tried it 'cause I don't like clams. However, they have a shrimp one with cream sauce that is my absolute favorite.

Pizza ..... yes
Clams ON pizza ..... not so much
Pineapple on pizza ..... yummy, especially with ham or Canadian bacon!
