Actually this "myth" was Busted on Myth Busters
Dentists have recommended that a toothbrush be kept at least six (6) feet away from a toilet to avoid airborne particles resulting from the flush.
and this one WAS proven TRUE on Myth Busters. The amount of airborn toilet particals was bare minimal and the results were proved them NOT to be harmful. But neither the less YUCK

Conclusion: AA was overpaying for olives.
