I'm not sure how they rebroadcast out in CA, but we only got the first two songs on our local station, then local news until 10.

Not only that...but they did song, cut to commercial, song, cut to commercial. So we missed pretty much anything Jimmy said or did between songs. And to me, that's the best part. But try telling *that* to a money-hungry network executive...

I *did* like his participation in the food segment beforehand. That was fun. And in the closeups during his performance, he had almost a Buddhalike peacefulness on his face. Might have been on account of getting up so early.

Ah well. Nice of them to do it on a day when I was working at home and could watch.
