I am may have missed this in an earlier post, but at the Dallas concert on April 28,, Jimmy kept cutting to feeds from Winter Park where fans were gathered to watch the Dallas Show.
My questions are:
How many people were there to view the concert at Winter Park?
Did JB charge those pholks to attend? If so,how much?
At what venue were those people in Winter Park gathered?
Is this an attempt to check out the feasibility and profitabilty of selling closed circuit tickets to others venues?
Thanks

I can't really answer your questions, except to say that it didn't look like very many people (maybe a few dozen?). They were not the most "enthusiastic" crowd, by a LOOOOONG shot. Let's just say the cameraman kept going back to the dog dressed in a tropical shirt for something entertaining to show.

wAs. I was right near the screen . . . they didn't look 'nearly' as happy as the people around me!

And, the dog Auntie mentions? They were giving it beer. :-?

I hope it was a one time experiment, it didn't add anything to the show.

None of us here on BN who live in the Orlando / Central FL area knew about it.... so I think maybe it was opened up for employees of M-ville... or Caribbean Soul.... as both are located in Orlando....

But I am just guessing

i agree, it looked like it was just someone's back yard party or something. not "fun" at all!

heck if they want a party to show during the concert, all they have to do is ask hoot island to put on a repeat performance.... would be WAY better than the winter park crew they showed

I don't think there are enough sober camera-people to cover that kind of event. :pirate:

I took it as a test for people not at the show vs. those who were at the show...they just wanted folks to know they were doing that test...a new distribution channel, perhaps.

Listening to the CD sober, it sounds like he wants to try doing it the other way. People at home can see the fun they are missing at the show.
