No, if I was a latte machine, I'd mix cyanide into the latte to help control the yuppie population.
You'd only kill the wannabe yuppies... no self-respecting yuppie would drink a latte out of a powdered-mix machine....

Hey hey hey now. That's a latte AND steamer machine. Those steamers are pretty damned good mixed with hot chocolate.

(I like to play at the Wawa 'coffee bar')
I went to a Wawas once. :(
OOh I did, too, in New Jersey...and if nothing else....they have an extremely loyal and dedicated following of Wawa'ers...

My favorite in OK was QT (quick trip), Kum & Go (YIKES) purchased most of the 7-11's....

here in SouthEast Ga. there is Friendly Express, Flash Foods, (they know us at the ones close to us), and Green Cedar, other than the truck stops (Cisco) near 95...

Now there's something we can agree on..

My best friend had a problem with my neice and her artwork...and perhaps the message "Die Yuppie Scum" was a bit overdone...(this was back in the mid 80's.....way before it was standard part of our language)

I asked Debbie what her problem was....and she said..

"What's wrong with being a Yuppie?? Isn't that what we all want to be when we grow up??"

That's when I knew my best friend , oldest friend, and I ...had grown apart..and didn't even think alike anymore...

I just shook my head "no" and walked away......

Sometimes I miss her.....
I sometimes miss my yuppie friends...

...but I'm getting better.

Well..I was gonna get a picture of the sign before I left...but forgot too...

I'll be back up there this summer...I'll get a snap of it...

the general manager of the stores in the area where I lived had to drive around in a new car with a Kum and Go magnetic sign on each door of her car....
:o

The only one of those convenience stores I've heard of is 7-11, and we don't have any of those around here anywhere. We DO have General Lee's, though (ain't that typical).

That is hysterical!

We have Green Gables, Needs, Mainway(I call it Mainline!), Mac's and Beckers (Ontario) and Perrette (Quebec) and of course, dozens of Mom and Pop convenience stores, too.

Oop  Sorry. For those who don't have a wawa around them, it's a convenience/gas stop. Kind of like a Sheetz, 7-11, Cumberland Farms, etc.
I don't know if I'd want any food from a place called sheetz. :o
SO A Grocery Store named Ralphs is out of the question??
