...have read thru this thread i started very carefully, but don't think i've yet found an answer to my inquiry as to whether Buffett concert goers this season have noticed any change/increase in the cowbell factor

Can't remember all the details, but there was a band on SNL that just seemed too cool for school and right around the end of thier song Will came out in costume with the cow bell. I laughed so hard I woke up the neighbors dogs.

Robert had the cowbell two years ago in Cincy when I was fairly close on that side of the stage....
