Never had lawn seats before......questions about Pittsburgh
This is our first time at Star Lake ----definitely not our first time for JB....but we have never had lawn seats anywhere before. What are the rules.........do you actually bring a chair ( I can't imagine sitting down anyway) What should we expect?

Depends on the venue...I've noticed that in Northern Amphitheatre's chair are not allowed....while the southern ones allow low (under 9" or so) are allowed, and some places even rent then.Lost Mango wrote:This is our first time at Star Lake ----definitely not our first time for JB....but we have never had lawn seats anywhere before. Read the web site for where you are going...most things like this are listed.

Prohibited or not, chairs are seldom practical on the lawn (unless you just want to catch a rest between sets). (Wait, that's what toilets are for...)

Chairs aren't allowed to be brought in at Starlake but you can rent them once your inside the gates. Waste of money though since you'll be standing the whole time
I'd suggest bringing a blanket in because you can sort of have your own little area at least until the concert starts then its a freeforall. Fins Up~^~

We bring a neat sheet. they are disposable blankets that you can get at the supermarket/Target/KMart. They are waterproof and if (when) they get all muddy and beer soaked, you don't have to bring them home and wash them if you don't want to.
