Might peek at a game here and there, but not really excited about either team this year.

:D Thanks, KBNP. They paid great against Dallas, and they played like crap against the Ducks. ;)

Good luck to Carolina. :)

Hehe, what a series for an Islander fan.
One team's coach is their former coach who they let go because he couldn't get them past the first round.
The other team's captain is their former captain who they let go because he was old and underachieving.

I'm leaning toward the canes because I get to see more of them because they are closer.

Even though my team (Flyers) is loooooonnnng gone, I'll watch every game I can. Since Carolina has several former Flyers, I'm a Caniac now.

I'm a long suffering Philly fan, as well............it just reminds me that Bob Clarke sucks as a GM.

Yeah, who would've thought that big, slow players would struggle in the "new" NHL.

Peter Forsberg............I think he and Barbaro could share the same stall for the next 6 months since neither one of them can walk that well right now. I think the horse is in better health than Forsberg. Well, he'll play his usual 45-50 games next season.

I remember Philly fans were so excited about Forsberg. Hell, I was sad to see him leave Colorado. It's so great to see him play when he's healthy, but unfortunately, I think those days are behind us.

I'm goin' Canucky for this series. Go Edmonton!!

What a great game! :D :D :D

Too bad it had to turn on a mistake. :( UNH product Ty Conklin plays well enough to get them to OT, but then has a brain fart in the last minute. :-?

I loved the sign: "Barney Knows Hockey"!

I'm rooting for the Oilers because:

1. former UNH Ty Conklin
2. former Bruin Sergei Samsanov
3. I think it's important for the small market Canadian teams to do well. It gives me hope for the "new" NHL.

I may watch some, but I just couldn't get that much into hockey this year. I kept up with it but didn't watch many games...

I don't think that was his fault.

They still play hockey?

Tough break for the Oilers with Roloson going down........and Ward was awesome in the 3rd!! Definitely more exciting seeing the "new" NHL. In the old days if you went down 2 or 3 goals.....GameOver!!! Now.....it's keep those dials tuned in!! 8)

Last night's game sure was crazy, and as they said, reminded me of my all time favorite player Steve Smith.

Go Oilers!
