Fingers Taylor Plays On Stage in Cincinnati

Post by phjim »

Greg "Fingers" Taylor played with Jimmy Buffett on stage during the encore of last night's show in Cincinnati. He joined in on harmonica during the song "Fins". Its the first time the former Coral Reefer has played a show with Buffett since he resigned in May of 2000. Look at what others had to say about Fingers on the discussion board.

The Set List from the show is now available.

The Cincinnati Enquirer has a review of the show, "This time, Jimmy was memorable" (does not mention Fingers)

It was DEFINATELY great treat to hear Fang back on stage again!

Being he was there all day, i assume that the "one song appearance" will be just that. He could have added to the whole show! Nothing like listening to "concert replays" on R.M. to hear Fingers.

But i will settle for one song, rather than none!
It would be GREAT to have Fingers back on tour!

He "IS " the "original" Coral Reefer Band.

Wow! Wish I heard it- anyone have a copy of when he came on? HW2P must have been awesome with him.

Castro is still playing in Cuba, but the homefield advantage isn't what it used to be.

It was great to see fingers! He and Jimmy looked like they were having a blast jamming together. The crowd loved it too. Why do newspapers always have idiots reviewing concerts?

well.. now you know what to look for. and have a benchmark against which to measure all future concerts. And having Fingers onstage at your first... it's a high mark to top.

One song is better than no song! I am just happy that it happened. Had I been there, I think that I would have cried.

Even though this appearance was kind of a "one off" maybe they'll now bury the hatchet over whatever the issue was and he can be part of the tour next year. 8)

it was actually my 18th Buffett concert. I think, it's a ll a little fuzzy. Great show all around though. Probably the best I've seen in years.
