Oh no... I heard him say it.... I was just amazed that I was sitting on the same row as Down around Biloxi and we never met. I would have at least said hello and bought the first round of beers

Hey Wino, don't forget the Kernel's thingy

He did say at the beginning that missing Alpine last year was a mistake. It was in reference to him playing at Wrigley Field.
And the "Kernels thingy" is Sunday, July 16, 2:00 PM, Veteran's Memorial Stadium, Cedar Rapids.
See you then. (Bring your daughter Norma too).
Whoa, whoa, whoa! What's going down in CR? Is Jimmy playing a secret concert at Vet's? He's available ...

Hey Wino, don't forget the Kernel's thingy

"we had a bit of a senior moment and forgot Alpine last year" is pretty close.

I change my vote. Listened to the CD yesterday and Jimmy said, "I will see you next time" and not next year.

Sunday, July 16th, 2:00 PM. Cedar Rapids Kernels vs. Southwest Michigan Devil Rays.
It's "Parrothead Day" at the ballpark. $22.50 gets you into the game, plus all the beer you can drink, plus all the food/peanuts/popcorn you can eat.
We rent the left field picnic area, where we usually get about 40-50 parrotheads whooping it up, and occasionally noticing there's a baseball game going on.
We've been doing this for several years now-the first few years the cost was only $12.00. Then, as
I started going, they've raised the prices every year.
WANNA GO? LET ME KNOW.
