(Yes, even Celine and Emerson, Lake and Palmer!! :P )
I have fond memories of Emerson, Lake & Palmer. I saw them in concert back around 1973, took my old girlfriend Wendy. She's still the hottest girl I ever went out with, and I'm still trying to figure out what she saw in me.

From '71 to '76 or so, I listened to Elton John all the time. probally saw him in Chicago 8-9 times. I stopped when the "glitter" became more important than the songs. I still love to listen to Tumblweed Connection and Honky Chateau (skip Honky Cat) But I stopped buying and stopped going with Caribou. (Has an artist ever had a more appropriate named album than Capt Fantastic & the Brown Dirt Cowboy ? :o

I was also a huge Chicago fan back in the day and still listen a lot. Same with Fogelberg, Croce, Lightfoot, Joni Mitchell and other people that led me to Jimmy.

I also listen to a lot of Sinatra. Songs for Swingin' Lovers is my all time favorite

I was just typing the same thing... Elton John :o

Still totally dig his music from early 70's, he had a great bluesy vibe.
But when he started really flaming, his music really lost its edge.
Now he does Disney soundtracks (Lion King)and bad plays (LeStat) and he sounds too sugar-coated for my taste... :-?

...I just saw Chicago last night down by the bay. They sounded great! :D

A LOT of stuff from the 60s thru the 80s. Including Black Sabbath, Stepenwolf, and most any other group or artist including. ..... Joan Baez. GASP!!!

Oh yeah some of the 50s stuff,Buddy Holly,Big Bopper, The Coasters, The Drifters, The Beach Boys, The Safaris, The Ventures, etc.

Other than NO DISCO or RAP CRAP, not very much if any "techno" or "alternative".... I listen to pretty much everything between Classical and Country to Rock-N-Roll to "Fresh Air" to Enya... Not being an opera fan, I have found one or two that I have ACTUALLY liked ( Besides Bugs Bunny's rendition of "The Barber of Seville" that is.) ( Unfortunatelly I do not recall the names of them or the singers) But I am not a fan of opera anyway)
