So what happens when Jimmy stops playing??

Post by parrotheadfun »

There has been a lot of speculation lately about when JB stops playing. I’m curious to hear what we (Parrotheads) will do. Will you continue to purchase the merchandise, eat at his restaurants, and carry that Parrothead sticker on your car?

I for one will continue to eat at the restaurants (food is great) and listen to his music (of course). Where will we phlock to??

No need to worry now about what may happen later, but:

-The restaurants will continue to serve credible food in a fun atmosphere
-his CDs will still be available and wonderful
-There are dozens of excellent artists out there playing their music and mixing in a little Buffett. try a few of these:
Jim Morris
Sunny Jim
Club Trini/ any of the current or Former Coral Reefers
Johnny and the BeachBumBand
KD Moore
John Frinzi
Brent Burns
Dave Waugh
Joe Bennett
Gary Seiler
Boat Drunks
A1A
Eric Stone
Whaleshark
Jim Hoehn
Don Middlebrook/Living Soul

there are MANY more, these are just ones I have heard in the past year and can personally recommend

i will continue to visit margaritaville, my license plate will still say FINZ, i'll wear the clothes and sing the songs.
the only thing that will change for me is the concerts i like to attend. i can't help but think that even if/when the concerts do stop, i have a feeling he will still show up at margaritaville and other places and sing a few songs every now and then.
Bring that young man over here
