C.D.s or cassettes because the radio very rarely plays anything I want to hear.

Even by modern Clear Channel standards, Oklahoma City radio is horrendous. One of the things I love about my car is that it came with a built-in ipod connector.

Several choices:
Morning - FM Radio
Drive home - AM Radio
CD's most other times.

I thought modern Clear Channel is what made radio horrendous??

Clear Channel has ruined radio...IMO....and Ok. City and Tulsa airwaves were monopolizied by Clear Channel when I left there...
except for the numerous country stations , eck! I don't know if they are clear channel..I never listened..

Chalk another one up for
Sirius . Once you go satelite you will never, ever listen to regular radio again. Well, you might try, but chances are they'll be in a frigin' commercial when you do!

I have Sirius in my truck. My wife hates it when we drive to L.A. or Vegas (six or seven hours) and I keep it tuned to M'Ville or Elvis Radio.
But now, she has started talking about getting it for her car.

Extremely hooked on Sirius. I have on one the boat, as well as one on each car. I'll be putting one on the Goldwing and the MG this summer as well.

iPod. Plug it into the FM transmitter and I get to listen to what I want to listen to while my iPod gets charged!
