I was looking forward to seeing this flick. Alas the reviews are in and pretty universally it's being said that it bites. Do you think it's as bad as all that?

I think it looks funny as hell... I'm looking forward to it as well, although I might have to wait until it comes out on DVD...

Stupid funny movies never get good reviews, so I wouldn't be too worried about the critics.

hey, sometimes it's entertaining to see another dumb movie!

I might not see it right away, but I'll probably wait for some word-of-mouth reviews from some of my friends...

I'd definitley make it a matinee flick and spend no more than $4.50!

It's directed/written by Jared and Jerusha Hess....who did Napoleon Dynamite....I loved ND, so I think I will probably like Nacho Libre....plus I really like Jack Black...it's $20 and a couple hours of my life...I'm willing to take a chance!

I think it's being kind of toted as a slapstick sort of film, but from what I've been reading on it, it really isn't. But the resounding sentiment I've heard is if you like ND, then you will probably enjoy Nacho Libre.

It will be great!!!

I finally watched Napolean Dynamite the other day and thought it had a few good moments (time machine shocking) but could have been a lot better.
That said, I also like Jack Black and will rent it.

We haven't seen ND yet cause it just looked so dumb, but I understand it's really good so we'll see. Maybe.

As for Nacho, we all LOVE Jack Black so we're thinking of going w/the keets.

Trusting a ParrotHead's judgement more than the general population, I'll be looking forward to seeing some of your reviews if you guys see it before we do.

any movie with Jack Black in it is worth watching...especially when he has a dirty stache
