Pan Go Steel Band!

Just got back from a concert by the Pan Go Steel Band!

5 steel drum players, plus drum set and electric bass. It was totally awesome! Anybody else ever hear of them?

(no one has heard of them either)

I guess we should change the name of this thread to "Steel Bands Nobody has heard of"

I've never heard of them, but I could listen to steel drum bands for days on end and not get tired of it.

I hear ya Wino.........they had a Pan festival all day in Detroit Saturday (which wasn't publicized until Friday

) but unfortunately I could not attend.

My friend was in charge of that event. Very poor help from the city of Detroit. Since they are virtaully broke, they wanted everything for free.

Still, I'm sure it was cool as I couldnt attend.
