I don't know about tm on the internet. My husband and several others were trying on the computer and didn't get anything. Went to a TM outlet and couldn't believe I got some tickets!!! The first few people got lawn and the sellers thought it was sold out, then they were able to get some pavillion. I was lucky and got the last pavillion seats!

that's interesting....in 3 minutes, TM Online said "sold out"
my hubby was 2nd in line and no pavilion available and he was done in under 5 minutes.
ticketmaster is a very very shady organization. i understand getting the pavilion towards the end because people buy them online and maybe get booted or whatever and those tickets become available, but to get any tickets 18 minutes after they went on sale for Jimmy when TM said sold out in 3, hmmm...
i'm glad you got your seats. i'm glad i got my lawn. hope they still allow blankets (and dont pack you in like sardines like cincy).

I scored 2 pavillion online at 10am. My mom was #6 in line at the Fisher (downtown) and lawn were gone, but pavillion were available. I tried online again, right after I got mine, and it was sold out.
My mom's friend was shut out of lawn but pavillion was available for them too. I think the $150 (after fees) pricetag made more pavillion seats an option.

Not true.......kept punching best available from 10:00-10:10 with no luck......it was just the TicketB*stard fluke that spit out your pavilions after no lawns were available.ParrotheadCMC wrote:I scored 2 pavillion online at 10am. I managed to get through on the phone AND online. Unfortunately, I could not type all my info into the computer AND respond to all the phone prompts so I hung up and proceeded online. I got 4 tix online. When I got through on TM it was my first try and it told me my wait time was less than 5 minutes. When my turn popped up it asked me to sign in and confirm payment. Pretty effortless I must say. I cannot believe they sold out in 2 minutes. I was bothered by the fact that last night I was checking out the DTE tix on Ebay. Mind you they were not available yet, but one of the listers posted "concert sold out" in his item description. That erked me!! Anyways, I am glad I got mine and hopefully we will see some of you out there! Cheers...

I don't know if the outlet was anything like the one where I grew up, but that location would just order the max for every transaction, and get as many as possible, and occasionally would have a few leftovers at the end (they also let you return tickets).
And yeah, Ebay sucks- at least in the "old days" scalpers were scalpers and that was their real job, rather than just being some asshat who got tickets to one show and is making 200% profit.
That being said, I have paid more than face value one time, and that was because my little sis came home from Japan, changed her flight to make sure she would make the show, and the three of us (older brother too) had to make sure we had tickets (I was not pleased about it, but it was worth it), and we could have easily gotten tickets in the parking lot, we just didn't want to risk not getting them.

detroit tickets???What a scam
My wife and I were on three computers, waited for 15 min total and still did not get even one ticket. my wife has a T1 account and she was booted out three times. Something has to be done about ticketbastard and the way they do tickets. I understand that the Ticket brokers have to make money, but come on, I checked on ebay, rowjj 1200.00. How can they they do that, even a die hard fan, like myself, has a problem with that. I am sorry,I am just blowing off some steam, I am happy for all of you that got tickets, but I think there should be some other way to get tickets, some kind of pre drawing for numbers. Oh well, if any one has 4 tickets,at a reasonable price, please write to me.Have a phun time at the concert otherwise.

do what so many other phans do, just show up for the parking lot party. i pretty much guarantee you can buy some tickets from some real phans for face value. dont buy from the scalpers until right before the show and you'll get a deal, no doubt. i sold 6 thru this site and jimmydreamz for the cincy show on the 8th and i sold all for face value/fees only and i even covered the shipping myself. i then sold 2 more lawn (because my hubby won 13th row at CIP!) in the parking lot for UNDER face value after I ran a couple thru an intense interview to make sure they were phans (it was obvious who the scalpers were anyway).. you can and will get tickets!

you are absolutely correct. friend of mine said the entire front half was taken by vips/season ticket holders and i know that the corona distributors received thousands more. that pretty much eats up the pavilion. luckily, pine knob is still one of the best amphitheaters to watch a show because the lawn is elevated enough so you can almost always see and you can relax on a blanket (unless that's been changed). cincy doesnt allow blankets and the lawn is quite flat so they pack you in (oversell) and you cant see.
