The CIP in Downers Grove is very good food, I actually like some of the offerings more than Margaritaville.

The Mini Cheesburgers are great, and you can't beat the Island Quesadillas!

We go there once a month from Charleston. We love the great atmosphere not to mention the burgers. The drinks are pretty strong, but that’s how I like them :D
Making a note to self about the CIP in MB.. :wench:
I wish the one in ATL opened earlier during the weekday. :(

Wishing CaptainP was the manager of the CiP in Indy...

I've been to the CiP on the southside of Indianapolis, but never the northside location. With the concert coming up in August I was hoping to visit this one for my cheeseburger fix while in town. I called the restaurant (at 3:00 which should be a slow time) and inquired if there would be any pre-concert happenings since "The Man" would be in town. I got "no... why would there be? The August calendar isn't even out yet"
um......... because Buffett and thousands of his parrothead fans will converge on your side of town which is near the venue, Verizon Center?

The one in Middleton WI has been going downhill since it opened.
The food is OK, but nothing special.
There are much better cheeseburgers to be found in Madison.
CBIP is not even in the top ten.

Some of us have thought about contacting the owner and seeing if he would try to book Johnny and the BBB for that night or the night before. I think maybe we need to do that. The one on the southside I like alot better however, the northside one will be closer.

well I can't speak for all of them but the CIP in Atlanta is fantastic, except the Mojitos.

Hopefully you'll get someone a little more helpful on the phone than I did.

CiP Southside Indy wasn't too bad when I drove through Indy on my way back from Mississippi... There is a rule in Indiana that you can't drink til 6pm on election days.... we'll I didn't know that.... Wisconsin you can drink 24/7 (no wonder why were always drunk.)

The food and frozen drinks were good.

Maybe cause' there's been a pre-show tailgate every year since they opened??? I'm sure there will be festivities at both locations, although now that the Fishers location is open I'm guessing that will be the focal point since they're on the way for anyone heading to Deer Creek from the southern half of the state. Guess we'll just have to wait for the August calendar :-?
Personally, I didn't care for Bahama Breeze when we went there, although the dishes are more interesting and authentic, they were also much more expensive, and we had a crappy waiter to boot. I also like that the CIP beer on draft is nearly ice cold, which is all I really need. I do however, miss the old carnivorous habits platter, which had sushi on it. The sweet potato chips are way too salty for my taste, I wish they'd offer sweet potato fries, I could get behind that :D

I think OH has something similar to IN, and if ever there was a day to be able to knock back a couple either before or after a trip to the booth... :D

We also can't buy liquor on Sundays. You can go to the bars and restaurants but the liquor stores are closed...it's crazy! :)

Anyone know if the CIB in Myrtle Beach offers a good selection of seafood? I'll be down there in August and was wondering.

Let me clarify.... state law states that LIQUOR stores cannot sell liquor after 9pm, however, bars are usually open til 2am, some are open 24/7. As long as you get the liqour before 9pm (from the stores), you can drink all night.

If its Packer Games... drinking starts at 8am.... and goes til the next day. Minnesota and Chicago fans are the worst because they think they can keep up with us.... um, no.... sorry, there has been occasions where Badger/Packer fans have drank a LARGE metro DRY! Yes, DRY!
