When I turn 70

will I suddenly begin driving 40mph as I struggle to see over the steering wheel. Will I block the aisle of the grocery store while I push my cart with my scooter? Will I take to wearing black knee high socks with my sandals and pulling my white pants up to just under my boobies? I'm just curious because I'm sure most 70yo folks were quite cool when they were 30 and probably even got a few speeding tickets.

Not in Kansas all the 70 year old farmers drove 40 mph when they were 30.

my boobies won't be boobies when i'm 70. they will probably be knee-cap cushions.

does that mean that's something you'll need at 70?

I won't if you won't
Let's make a vow to check in with each other at least once a year for a "coolness" check!

Actually it won't be sudden, when I wasn't responsible for my own insurance and had no ideas what a insurance surcharge was I drove 85-90 everywhere

, I now don't dare drive more than 5mph over any posted speed limit, 30+years from now I think I'll be pretty worried about "the man" taking my license if I have an accident or caught speeding hence the over cautious 40mph

VTW - I hope nobody is offended by this post. I thought later it might sound bad. I have friends of every age. Many of them are active folks who hike, kayak, bike, teach, learn, etc. All of them are interesting folks worth knowing and spending my time with. One of the things that keeps me young is having friends of so many different ages. There are some who consider me the old person and some vice-versa.

The keets are constantly calling me old. I really embaress Ashley when I mouth the words to a song. ( I also tend to bob my head and dance a little.) I am only 32. I can't wait to annoy them when THEY have kids. I just don't want to get old to do it.

I was driving behind a 70-ish fellow today and I WISH he had been going 40mph. He was drivin' slower than the speed of smell. It was a 35mph zone ane he wasn't even close to threatening 30. And he was still having trouble keeping on his side of the yellow line. Then he got to an intersection, started to turn to the left, and THEN put on his turn signal. Yikes!

I have neighbors like that... I curse everything under the sun whenever I get stuck driving behind them. It always figures that I get stuck behind them all the way across town and there is no quicker way to get home
