I saw it the other day.... top ten places in the US for sweating.... No place in FL was on the list. Phoenix was #1. Strange considering its hot but dry there...

Shoot I watered my plants this morning by the pool and needed another shower... and I was just standing there....

Went to Tampa in Feb of 2005. I live in NC and will definately be making the trek to Fla if (when) he comes.

Hey I live in the home of Frank and Lola.. would love to see him here in '"lower alabama"/ Dont think that will happen so Im keeping my fingers crossed for the Florida world tour.. hes gotta come here. I would pass on Tampa though. I saw him there last year and the sound sucked at that place, and I cant believe how packed they were on the lawn there also. It looked fun but a wee bit overpacked.!! Phins up for Phlorida

Although that Long Island-living thang has some of us pretty nervous ...

I suspect that he'll be back in Florida later this year or early next year, but it will be interesting to see if he does Jacksonville again.

I expect that there will be nothing official about Florida until the NBA announces there schedule in early August. They are the primary tenants in these venues, so their needs will come before anything else gets booked. Keep the faith.

When my honey asked me to go to WI to see Buffett (he never saw him outdoors) I didn't bat an eyelash - Every place is different. But the tailgating - I hate to say it - is much better imho in other places - Alpine was HUGE...
I had the time of my life. Of course money is an issue for some when it comes to travel. We couldn't afford to travel this summer so I definitely hope he adds a FL show!!!! But I say - whatever you can do to get to another show - I highly recommend it!!!

I wholeheartedly agreee. I try to see 2 or 3 a year from FL to NC to VA. Charlotte tailgating this year was definely the best followed closely by Bristow, VA every year. But FL adds something because you're on Jimmy's home stomping ground. Every venue has something to offer.

I wondered about that one....Heard great things about that venue, as far as acoustics, etc....and I live in Fernandina...

But went to Tampa..

Maybe I'll try closer to home WHEN he announces the FL dates.

I always seem to have good luck being in port for Jimmy's shows. I've been at sea for months and just got back. So now he can announce some "Floridates", come down South and play for us natives.

Have to agree....tailgating does seem to be better in other States...seems like the venues cater to it better than most places he plays in FLA...But the Ford Amp. in Tampa was rocking last yest...nice new outdoor event...
