Leon Russell's "Back to the Island", a radio station here in STT plays it all the time, great song.

Conch in butter sauce...yum!

St. John, my favorite of the USVI's.

Principal of the school I was working at today.

My iPod

"Wondering Where the Lions Are" by Jimmy from the "Hoot" soundtrack.
2. What was the last new dish you tasted?
Captain P's Jambalaya at the Alpine concert-it was fantastic.
3. Where was the last place you visited for the first time?
Dallas a couple months ago.
4. Who was the last new person you met?
A bartender named Sherry at the Chrome Horse Saloon last night. Prior to that, it would've been the gang who showed up at Alpine two weeks ago.
5. What was the last new toy you played with?
My motorized beer cooler that I received as a gift for father's day. Prior to that, it would be my Corona bottle opener that I used about five minutes ago.

I didn't make them, but they were ripe (not green plantains) and had been dipped in egg white, rolled in toasted pecans and sesame seeds, flash deep-fried, drained and served with brandied whipped cream. To die for!!!
