Central Indiana Phlocking - CIP Fishers Date/Time TBD
Title says everything. Blame it on Palm Tree Gal, she's going through withdrawls, and August is a LONG time away. Let's get together, eat some burgers, drink some icy beverages and tell a couple of lies... It'll also be a good time to do some strategizing for Deer Creek in August...
Who's going to be able to come?
1) Mr. and Mrs. tjtryon
2) Palm Tree Gal

It was quite a good time. We could hear the concert, though we couldn't see it. No pushing or shoving in the lawn, nobody puked on us. We were able to sit back, relax on the boat, had our picnic dinner during the show, and if I had to pee, I didn't have to wait in line, I just jumped in the river.Quiet and Shy wrote:Hey TJ thanks for getting something started...I'm in for whenever.
I want to hear more of your Cincy boating story! :D

Yeah, but even better, we got to experience p*** off the coast guard first hand....Quiet and Shy wrote:Sounds like great fun. :D That's always one of my very favorite vistas as I approach Riverbend...looking off to the right as I cross the bridge and seeing all the boats anchored there for Jimmy. Were you able to hear Jimmy's comment about you guys out there...blocking an official waterway and p!ssing off the Coast Guard? :lol:tjtryon wrote:It was quite a good time. J/K- The coast guard, as well as the people in the boats, were all very well behaved. It was fun having everyone hit the horns when time for the applause.
They even brought the tshirt cannons out to the VIP deck and fired them to the boats during hot hot hot. Aside from the riverbend nazis with a tape measure making sure you were 10' from the shore, every effort was made to include us in the show...

Which really p*** me off, as they obviously don't know about the federal waterways easement laws stating that there is a access right of way 10' from the water on the bank that is a federally regulated public easement.tjtryon wrote:Aside from the riverbend nazis with a tape measure making sure you were 10' from the shore, every effort was made to include us in the show...
Regardless, the show was great, and I'm sure they were just worried about people sneaking up to the show...
