This is one of the greatest ejections I have seen. Somebody sedate this guy

In 1987, Beloit Brewer manager Gomer Hodge was ejected from a game in Clinton. After a very long and extended argument on the field, that had the crowd roaring with laughter, Hodge too emptied the dugout of every bat, ball, helmet and glove he could find. When he was done, he tossed the Gatoraid cooler on to the field and then proceded to follow it out and kick it soccer style into left center field. When he had his fill of kicking the defenseless cooler, he picked it up, placed it over his head and did this silly penguin like walk back to the 3rd base dugout with the cooler on his head. This time he received a standing ovation.

Well, the stunt inspired the Brewers and they spoiled the night for the home team by staging an unbelievable 7 run comeback. The next day the headline in the local paper read....

"COOLER HEADS PREVAIL"

You just don't get this kind of entertainment at a Major League game

looks more like a acting audition than a manager questioning a call :-? Most likely staged.

1987 was a long time ago.

The minors may have been a little slower to lose this sort of grandstanding (which I've never seen in recent memory at a minor league game since the turn of the century at least) but I am sure that plenty here remember Earl Weaver and Tommy Lasorda.

...not only that but it seems that Joe Mikulik (also a minor league manager, the Asheville Tourists...single A) just through a hell of a tantrum.

Funny.....as a general rule I go to baseball games to watch baseball games.......not manager antics.
