Women - Sheesh - Can't Please 'em

My wife and her "we never go out anywhere nice". Sheesh.

Okay ... so tonight I'm taking her out to the National Theater in Washington, DC to see the national touring version of the 2005 Broadway Tony Awards winner of "Best Musical".

Now how great is that of me to do for her I ask you? I'm doing this all for her. :D Expensive orchestra seats even, 5th row ..... yet somehow she's still complaining. I mean, Monty Python's "Spamalot" ...... What's not to love!? But women just don't seem to appreciate the fine cultural humor that is Monty Python ...... go figure.

Too bad they haven't yet made a Broadway Three Stooges musical. Now THAT I would line up to see!!

Aaaah...how about correcting that to read...Some women....etc, etc..

I wouldn't pass up a change to see it..with no complaints...I find Monty Python's fine cultural humor entertaining and quite enlightening...almost since the invention of The Flying Circus...

As a woman who was never a huge Monty Python fan---I saw Spamalot in its Chicago previews before it went to Broadway, and it was hilarious!

You and me both, Jen. Was sorry I missed Spamalot (and Wicked) while I was recuperating in LA for 6 mos. :-? :(

Heck, I went on a date once where we constantly were throwing lines from Holy Grail back and forth and laughing ourselves sick. Not sure anyone else in the bar was nearly as amused as we were...but we had fun. We drove our friends nuts whenever we were with them.

Oh, don't grovel!
One thing I can't stand, it's people groveling.
And don't apologize. Every time I try to talk to someone it's 'sorry
this' and 'forgive me that' and 'I'm not worthy'.
