Ice shot things - How do you make them?

Post by rayliotta »

Hey all, I've been wondering this for the past 7 or 8 years. How do you make those huge blocks of ice with the trail that you put the shot down? What's the best way to make these? Anyone know? I see them every year but always forget to ask. thanks.

Shot Luge: n.; To get drunk and have fun with block of ice.

Call your local ice house, they usually have them in stock in varying sizes. They cost around $60-$90. Bring a drill and 1/2" drill bit as 'luge maintenance' is required as shots are poured and the summer heat starts to melt them 8)

and just for saftey sake, let them know that you need ice for consumption...there are chemicals in the normal Ice Sculpture Ice that allow it to freeze harder and more clear...these chemicals are not to be eaten...I'm sure in the small doeses you'd get from a shot won't hurt you, but if someone took ice chips and put them in a blender and made a drink it could

There will be plenty of them in the GW parking lot if past years are any indication.

Sorry R2 but you are wrong on this. A real man like myself just uses his finger to chisel the ice to make a path
