Funny how Jimmy tied Skip Wiley and Skink together even though Skink wasn't in the book!

I'm rackin' my brain to recall what I used to screw up. Some pretty funny What I Heard's. I'll get back to it.

Actually, I've always had trouble with The Rolling Stones. Be glad Jimmy doesn't slur his words like Mick Jagger.

In the Peanut Butter Conspiracy, I'd always thought it was:

Lookin' back at my hard luck days
I really do have to laugh
Workin' in a dive for twenty-six dollars
Spendin' it all on grass
:o

Turns out he was spending it all on "draft"

I thought that's what he said too!!!

Just got the Parakeet Album for our daughter and noticed that all of the adult references in his sogns are altered for those young ears. For example in CIP where the original is "Warm beer and bread" it is changed to "Root Beer and bread"

But the first verse is altered as well. Don't know the Keet words but I always thought he sang:
"Loosing weight without speed-eating sunflower seeds, drinking lot's of carrot juice and soaking up rays."
But as he only changes adult lyrics and this one is changed, it must be
"Losing weight without speed, eating sunflower seeds, drinking lot's of carrot juice and soaking up rays."

I still make up my own words--- esp. to OPH! We've been in the front the past few years, and I'm always like, s***, I don't know these words (when the camera guy comes around!) Non-Buffett worst was in "We're an American Band" I was screaming-- can I get a WHISKEY? and my brother's like, what the hell are you saying?? And going WAY back.... FELIX don't be a HERO (instead of Billy)! I used to LOVE the "I LOVE YA NOW" song just for the beat, but when I found out it was I Love THE Now understood it, I REALLY liked it!

Boat Drinks - my wife was sure he was singing "portraits, boys in the band ordered portraits".

Not misunderstood, but they just played "The Night I Painted The Sky" on RM.

One could interpret the lyrics as "Oh that was the night, I painted this guy".

I work with a girl who thought, "Looking for my lost shaker of salt" was "Looking for my lost chigger dog." Don't know what a chigger dog is . . .
