Jones Beach

This is my first time going to jones beach, i was wondering how the tailgating is there? I have heard there is no drinking there at all is that true. I know there is no alcohol in the venue but is there tailgating pre concert? thanks

I've been there many times (every other year for JB!). We've tailgated. Bring plastic cups and remember it is a State Park. So behave (but only a little).
