Erik is calling me when he lands in Nashville today. We are going out for a few beers this evening. When I talked to him yesterday he said he's ready for a little chill time....WATCH OUT MUSIC ROW....

Have I mentioned how sad I am that I'm not going to see him on Friday?

I was too...but he's got a few days off on his schedule so I'm guessing he's just gonna chill. He needs to be in Cali Thurs for the thing at the fair, then it's the Twin Rivers on Friday nite and then on the plane Sat am to get to Paris.

Love ya Erik...but I wouldn't want to be your seatmate on Saturday's flight....methinks you're gonna be hating life ( I KNOW those folks, remember? ).

I sure hope he's spending the night in Paris. Perhaps even at the Hampton Inn like us, and a few friends. Perhaps we could 'crash' the pool area. Or Tim (friend) could bring his guitar and play duos with us singing naughty ballads.



Which reminds me: gotta make a liquor store run.

Had a few beers with Erik last night. We shared a few stories and I'm glad I got to hang out with him for a bit while he was in Nashville.
We traded cd's and I listened to "A Hard Lesson" and his live cd on the way home while sitting in traffic in a truck with no freaking A/C and it was like 200 degrees outside, but I gotta tell ya listening to the cd's took my mind off the condition I was in..plus I had to PIZZ like a race horse and couldn't make my way across 4 lanes of traffic to get to the freaking exit to find my way to a bathroom!
CD's were fantastic to say the least so do yourself a favor if you haven't yet picked one up ...Buy IT! ! It's worth more than what you pay for it.

We hit a place on Music Row called "Tin Roof" right across from where he was staying.
I try to stay away from downtown those parking fees take away from my beer money!!!..but the beer sellar is cool spot!!

You will love it..Music Row has become a big hot spot..plus parking across the street is FREE!
