Alright so I'm sitting on my deck looking over the new summer issue of the coconut telegraph I just got in the mail. (the one about Jazz Fest)...
Anyways I'm looking at the Margaritaville Store Pages, and on page 3 (the one with all the shirts)..I saw one shirt that caught my eye...the "Albums you know by heart T". So I'm looking at the back picture of the shirt reading all the albums (the shirt lists all the albums Jimmy made)..and as I get further down...Beach House on the Moon, Live Tues. Thurs. Sat, and the Farside of the MOON
I just thought I'd point that little error out...If any of you still receive your copy by mail...check it out
That is all

If you wear the shirt backwards, it says "Paul is dead."

I noticed that discrepancy myself. I figured the original t-shirt photo may not have been too clear. Then someone decided what they thought it said. But why would anyone care if it wasn’t legible??
I' buy the shirt either way, though if it says Moon I'd buy it sooner, then buy another after they corrected it. It's sure to b a limited edition!

Oh stop, silly

Back in the olden days, when The Beatles ruled the world, (and it was the 60's, man....) they had an album ("Rubber Soul"?) that SUPPOSEDLY if you played it backward, it said "Paul [McCartney] is dead."
And I'm very rarely clever. It just happened to be opportunity to re-use one of my ten clever things that I know in the world.

At the risk of this thread getting hijacked by Beatles trivia, the backwards "Paul is dead" is from The White Album (specifically the song "I'm So Tired")

You are correct. Sgt. Pepper had all the visual clues: flowers on cover supposedly spelling his name, Paul backwards on the obverse side, arm patch reading OPD (officially pronounced dead), Dracula's hand raised over Paul's head on cover. I think there was more but I don't have the album in front of me.

Also lots of clues on the Abbey Road album cover picture.

Here's an interesting website that has to do with the whole backwards thing. Check it out. Kinda freaky.

I actually named a collecion of my favorite songs from Beach House & Far Side (about a CDs worth of decent music) Far Side Of The Moon. Had forgotten all about that.

Wasn't that only availible in the U.K. or Japan?
Right along side of "Live at Bubba-Kahn" if memory serves...
