Battle of the Sexes - Questions Needed!

Post by Demerara »

You guys did such a great job coming up with questions for a Newlywed Game, I thought I'd go back to the well one more time. Anyone have any questions for a "Battle of the Sexes" game? Here's how it works:

Two teams (one is guys, the other is gals) take turns answering questions related to the other sex or their interests. For instance, the guys might be asked "On what street do the characters on Desperate Housewives live?" and the gals might be asked "Who did the Pittsburgh Steelers beat in last year's Superbowl?" Each correct answer gets one point and at the end of the game, the team with the most points is declared the winner - and the smarter sex!

I've got a bunch of questions so far but I'm having a tough time coming up with more. Any ideas? (Questions have to be reasonably "clean" because the party will be attended by children and grandparents too!)

Cheers!

We have the actual board game verson of this and it's tons of fun. We have the Simpsons version of it too.

If I had any brain cells left after this week, I'd come up with some questions for ya. But, some ides would be...

Cooking questions for guys
Fashion questions for guys
"Entertainment Gossip" questions for guys
Baby questions for guys

Tools questions for girls
Engine questions for girls
Sports questions for girls (espec. golf and tennis)

Basically, all the stereotypical stuff.

I like BuffetBride's ideas, except assuming that men know about tennis??? Ask girls football and baseball. Ask either hockey, because most dont even know its a sport.

Also ask guys about colors i.e. What basic color is fuschia closest to.
Ask girls anything and make them answer in two words or less
M.K. "You should never use any of the 13 bad words!"
S.T. "I thought there were only 7 bad words?"
M.K. "Not if you're a sailor."

I could probably answer a few hockey questions, but not in two words or less.

I envy you, I live by Chicago, we have not had a professional hockey team here for years :pirate:

Thanks for the ideas! In the meantime, here are a couple of samples:

For the Guys: Who did Elton John marry in a civil partnership in 2005?

For the Gals: With what team did Ray Bourque finally win a Stanley Cup?

I don't know the Guy answer but I know the Gals answer.

It's the Avs, of course. :D :D :D :D :D :D And I also think he's the first Avalanche player to have his number retired.
