how can it be his last tour? He's got another album to push

Mixing it up a bit would be good but good too, solo tour don't sound too bad. But it is always a good time and I would suggest seeing him as many times as possible. Look at the Grateful Dead, everyone's enjoying it and all of a sudden they stopped (for a reason of corse). Moral, enjoy things while they are here.

This is the way I see it. The guy is only 59, he still has 6 years until 65 which is how long I think he will play for. In the 20 plus shows I have been to this year at Charlotte was just as good as most in my opinion. We are also going to nissan, even though I think he will play to 65 you never know.

....but you heard it here! He's not going anywhere for a long time
Mr. Buffett LOVES performing....and loves the BIG crowds....
he needs us as much as we need him!!
...and then, of course, he doesnt mind the money
Thats why, as long as he's healthy, i think we'll keep seeing him, with teleprompters if necessary, as long as he can walk out onto the stage
He may not bounce around as much, or at all, but he'll be there!!! Mark my words
...at least, that's my dream......

Anyone else get visions of Rod Stewart playing the Vegas Millenium show for Jesus in South Park?

Thanks for all the confirms that Bubba's not planning on hanging 'em up just yet!
I'm looking forward to perfecting my tailgating skills for next season! I mean, I'll try for the Garden when they go on sale, but I'm thinking it won't/can't compare to Jones Beach.

Anyway, while this was my first show, I have listened to many a live show, and I know that usually, during OPH, the last verse Jimmy sings:
And I see the day
When my hair is full grey
and I finally, dissappear
But not yet!
And then into the chant.
I was singing right along with him (OPH is one of my faves) and when that part came along, I sang it as well, but he did not. He looked like he grinned, and then went into the chant.
Am I looking to deep? Does he always make that remark, or only sometimes?

I think the
Parrothead phenomenon will outlive Jimmy by quite a few years - it has a force and rationale all its own.
