One guy is trying to set a record by eating 14 ounces and has not succeeded in that as of yet...... That should say something about it.....
but Sam I have had Ginger ice cream and it can be quite spicy..
Yes Ginger can be spicey ....but not as hot as the stuff he is using I would think. He is using 3 different peppers and two different hot sauces. ( I have some hot sauce here that I gaurantee will light up your life.....and in small quantities. I keep it reserved for people who tell me they like their food spicey HOT.
I admit to liking food with a little bite, but not like this stuff. ( Tappey's La. Bull Sauce is flavorite. Not too hot, Great flavor!) So far no one has ever told me this stuff was not hot enough for them...AFTER they tried it.

A drop about the size of a matchead is usually more than enough heat for most people.
I don't know what it is but when I lived in California I would
go to the cookouts held by co-workers..

How do they make it hot? Cream (well, the lactic acid in it) cuts the heat from peppers.

And I'd try it, but there's also garlic jelly in my fridge right now.

YEP on the Thai and the rest of Asia are quite good, at making some REALLY HOT STUFF. Curry seems to be big in a lot of Indian Cooking and they have some "interesting" peppers too..
Central and South America have some peppers that willl light you up too!!

If you like thermonuclear meltdowns in your mouth, you can try a product called Twice As Hot,Chinese Red Pepper. It has no real flavor other than the HEAT.

Interested in REALLY HOT peppers? Go here: http://www.batnet.com/rwc-seed/Pepper.w ... ttest.html They have a number you can call to get a free sample of the world's hottest pepper. They also have a seed catalog if you want to order your own seed and grow REALLY HOT peppers.

They also offer some recipes on the site.

It was at a time in my life when I would order
odd drinks like that just because as some of my
friends used to tell me, " if somebody was going to
go to all of the trouble to concoct a drink like that, the
least that we could do is try it one time"
