Which do YOU prefer?

Ok so I was the lucky one who got to host the 4th of July picnic this year, and I got into an argument with one of the inlaws

The fight was about what grill cooks food better (gas or charcol)

Now whenever I cook out I use charcol, (and i used charcol for the cookout) I bought a nice large charcol grill several years ago and it still works wonders. This particular inlaw said that whenever you use charcol more "fumes" get into the food, the food doesn't get done as well if use charcol, and the charcol doesn't kill all the "diseases" in the meats.

So this inlaw just ate potato salad and baked beans because she refused to eat food that came off a charcol grill

The above info. sounds like a bunch of BS to me but what do I know...

so what grill do you prefer?

I use charcoal

But this reminds me of perhaps the Stupidest thing I
have ever said..

I have both and can't tell the difference.
I think it's all in the seasoning.

I love the easy startup of the gas grill, but....

there is NO EQUAL to the flavor and aroma of real charcoal w/mesquite

It's ALWAYS worth the effort!!...
