Hopefully we can find out where they are docked, because it'd take three weeks full time to find them by just wandering around looking.....

What a great story!!!!

I wish someone would have gone to a fraction of that trouble to return my lost camera! I had lost mine about a month ago at a HS All-Star game being played in a minor league ball park. Stopped in the rest room on the way out and probably left it by the sink while I washed my hands. All I was hoping for was for someone to turn it into lost and found. If they had looked at the photos on the camera like you had, they definitely would have been able to track me down through the friend we went to watch--had several pictures of his face and stats on the big screen, etc. Someone had told me I should put a return address label on the camera. But if they were selfish enough not to turn it in, they probably wouldn't have tried to track me down from that!

All this with the Jones Beach show fast approaching and no camera!

Was able to get a good one for not too much $ and all was well. Got some great JB @ JB pics -- don't know what I would do without them to help preserve those memories!!

Again great detective work all around and congrats!!

AT MSG, I WAS SITTING TWO ROWS AWAY FROM THE OWNER OF THE CAMERA!!!

He was wearing an item of clothing (logo) that led me to believe he might know the camera's owner. When I asked if he knew someone who lost his camera at Jones Beach and had it returned with internet help, he looked at me like I was a little nuts..... Then he said, "Yeah, ME!" Talk about a small world!!

Thanks SGH for the update I hope that the cameras owner was glad to meet up with someone who new the history of the hunt for the cameras owner. To bad I did not get to meet up with them as it would have been cool to meet the owner. What are the chances I sat behind them at Jopnes Beach and then you sit behind them at MSG. Its a small worls Thanks RLA
