Since the 'keet was born....a couple of times. Before then it was rare anyway. I feel the same way those rare times when I am home alone....I don't quite know what to do. An empty house seems to foreign to me now.

How's Jaymie doing??
And your avatar....
apologies to phjim and moderators...

Still at the hospital, today at lunch was the first time they let her eat anything really since Wednesday. Still don't know what the real problem is, they are treating her for an ulcer, in hopes that that is going to clear up the issue, which it hasn't been... Unless she gets better, they are going to scope her on Monday...
Just one day at a time around here right now... Thanks so much for asking...

Maybe you should have added "not enough", I'm at the point of killing for a day where the wife takes the kids out all day long and I can putz around my home all alone...

My situation is the opposite. My wife says she wants time alone so I volunteer to take the kids someplace and she always says "Ooh, I wanna come too."

My wife works during the day and I work at night, so only full day we are home at the same time is Sunday. I don't work on Mon. so we have the evening, rest of the week I'm usually leaving around the time she comes home.

Since I am single and live in my own apartment, I am almost always alone.

True, and those voices also drink all my alcohol. Go figure.

Also live alone-when I got divorced (a lifetime ago) I thought I would hate it, but there are some real pluses to it!

I
have to have my alone time.
But since I have a cat and dog, I'm never alone
really. Wherever I go in the house, I'm followed. The dog looks at me like, "What are we gonna do..HUH? What are we gonna do? Will it be fun? HUH?" and the cat yells at me. I have no idea what she wants. UGH!

I work a rotating shift with a different day off every week. So I do get some alone time. It helps to catch up on the "honey do" list.
